Fragment of rim of a wheel-thrown pot with internal handle. Biconical shape with curved wall and progressive thickening towards the rim. Thick rim with flat, horizontal lip. Internal handle in the form of an arch of circular section, horizontally developed, attached to the upper third of the wall, parallel to the rim.

Monte Padrão, Monte Córdova, Santo Tirso.
Material
Ceramic. Very compact, well-refined paste with homogeneous firing. Small, evenly distributed non-plastic inclusions, composed of mica and quartz and, in smaller proportion, feldspar. Smoothed, fully polished surface, except on the lower face which displays a rough texture. Very dark colour with traces of exposure to fire (S31).
