Mortar with a small trapezoidal spout. Inverted biconical profile with slightly curved walls. Broad, flanged rim with a raised, rounded lip. Spout elevated. Flat base, thinning towards the centre. Decoration on the flange consists of an incised meander.

Material
Common ware ceramic. Well-levigated fabric with homogeneous firing. The predominant non-plastic inclusion is medium-sized, well-calibrated quartz, with smaller amounts of mica and occasional feldspar. Wheel-throwing marks are visible on the interior (47R), of a dark brown colour.
