Lock escutcheon with handle. Circular plate with a slight raised rim on the upper part, slightly fractured on the lower side. It has four perforations for attachment. The handle, of rectangular form, is fixed to the plate by two rivets. It incorporates a hinge at the upper end, which would have allowed the articulation necessary to lift the lid. The upper face of the handle is decorated with three longitudinal incised lines and a central square filled with cross-hatched lines. The piece most likely belonged to a small wooden casket and functioned both as a handle and as part of the lid mechanism.
