The main morphological characteristics of this type of glass container include a short and wide neck, a spherical body and a flared rim, sometimes strongly projected outwards. This is a very common form throughout the territory, with parallels identified at Conímbriga (ALARCÃO; ALARCÃO 1965, 97-98, est. VII, no. 154-159; ALARCÃO 1976, 171, est. XXXVII, no. 88-89), at the Castro do Monte de Santa Maria, Vila da Feira (ALARCÃO 1971, 41, est. V, no. 54), and in Braga, from the excavations at Carvalheiras (DELGADO; MARTINS 1989-90, 163, est. VI, no. 20; LOPEZ 1991, fig. 12, no. 15). Within this group, two further relevant examples should be noted: one from the Castelo de Guifões, Matosinhos (ALARCÃO; ALARCÃO 1963, 9-10, fig. 3, im. 3), and another from the Necropolis of Bouçós, Paços de Ferreira (SILVA 1986a, 125, est. XXXI, no. 7).
