Fragment comprising rim and upper wall of a cup or bowl in moss-green glass (56Y5/6). A slight constriction of the body immediately below the rim results in a projection that emphasises the thickened, undecorated rim.

This type of vessel shows distinctive characteristics, conventionally designated as a cup/bowl. Typologically, it is classified as Isings 96/106, as it does not fit precisely within either type, constituting instead a hybrid form combining morphological traits of both.

Its defining characteristics include a fire-thickened rim, a biconical body and a concave base with radial support, showing traces of pontil use at the centre. When decoration is present, it consists of small trails of glass of the same colour, produced during the rotation of the vessel. Its chronology is securely placed in the 4th century and the first half of the 5th century.
