Annular fibula, type Fowler B2, Ponte B51.2a. Oval ring with a circular-section hoop, with horizontally bent terminals ending in oval knobs, decorated with three rings formed by incised lines. Pin of circular section with perforated ring. This specimen is classified as Fowler type B2 (FOWLER 1960, 151).

The chronology suggested by Fowler places its peak distribution in the 1st century. Nevertheless, stratigraphic data from Saalburg and Zugmantel indicate a date extending into the 2nd century and the first half of the 3rd century (BOHME 1972, 16-19, est. 31). Salete Ponte assigns this annular fibula to type B51.2a, proposing a broader chronological range from the 1st to the 4th century (PONTE 2004, 213, Q. 1f).
