Bronze lamp with an oval disc set within a rim of rectangular section, decorated with stylised volutes and a semi-circular nozzle. Heart-shaped filling hole. Circular wick hole, perfectly centred on the nozzle. Ring base, soldered to the infundibulum, of rectangular section with a slightly expanded base folded inwards. A raised circle surrounding a central point is visible on the internal face. Handle formed by a semi-circular rod, of trapezoidal section near the infundibulum, gradually becoming circular in section and oriented towards the filling hole. The rod is reinforced at approximately mid-length by an iron clamp. At its distal third, it takes the form of a horse’s head, with a highly stylised mane rendered by obliquely incised lines.
